This issue from the United States Postal Service marked the opening of the National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C. (a part of the Smithsonian Institution). With horses, aviation, a railroad mail car, an automobile (all means of moving the mail), and Benjamin Franklin (first Postmaster) within the stamp designs, this issue should appeal to collectors of multiple topics. Issued on July 30, 1993.
