Nostalgic Cult Cars Booklet Pane strip of 5 Sweden, 2009
This attractive mint strip of five stamps is from a 10-stamp booklet (2 stamps each of five different desigbs; see item #AB3b) issued by Sweden on January 29, 2009. The five stamps feature "cult cars," including two classic U.S. cars. The five featured cars are a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, a 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, Germany's Volkswagen Beetle, a French Citroen DS (called "the toad" in Sweden), and a Swedish Volvo PV 444 (circa 1953). All of these booklet stamps are non-denominated; the inscription "brev inrikes" indicates that they pay the domestic letter rate (6kr at the time of issue).

Condition: Mint, never hinged.
Scott Catalogue Number(s): Sweden #2608

The actual size of this strip of five stamps is 134 x 44 mm. Please note that, being from a folded stamp booklet, the strip of five will have been folded along one row of perforations during production.
