United States, 1993 Contemporary Christmas Stamps Vending Booklet of 20

This mint vending booklet of 20 contemporary Christmas stamps was issued on October 21, 1993. The booklet includes two booklet panes; Scott Cat.#2798a and 2798b. This issue features four stamp designs that illustrate a Jack-in-the-box, a red-nosed reindeer, a snowman, and a toy soldier blowing his horn. Scott Cat. #BK212 (the cat. numbers for the enclosed individual stamp designs are 2795-2798).

United States, 1993 Contemporary Christmas Issue Plate# Coil Strip of 8

The 1993 se-tenant contemporary Christmas stamps were also issued on October 28, 1993, in a coil format (roll of stamps). This issue represents the first time U.S. Christmas stamps were produced in a coil format. Offered here is a mint plate number coil strip of eight self-adhesive stamps on the original backing paper (plate number coils of four-stamp se-tenant issues are typically collected in strips of 8 stamps); two copies of each of the four issued stamp designs are included. The plate number is printed below the design on the fourth stamp from the left. The stamps feature a Jack-in-the-box, a red-nosed reindeer, a snowman, and a toy soldier blowing his horn. Scott Cat.# 2799a (2799-2802).

Issued on October 28, 1993, this item is a mint ATM booklet pane (never folded) of 12 self-adhesive contemporary Christmas stamps. ATM booklet panes were intended to be distributed from ATM machines, using existing ATM machinary; ATM panes therefore have the dimensions of U.S. currency. This mint pane is from a folded booklet, as issued, and will show signs of folding along rows of perforation holes (this is normal). Also, if a selvage tab is attached at the top of the pane, it will likely show signs of damage because this tab was used to glue the pane to a booklet cover. Scott Cat.# 2872a
