Liberia commemorated the 40th anniversary of the 1st man on the moon (July 20, 1969) and the "International Year of Astronomy 2009" with the issuance of this mint mini-sheet (souvenir sheet) in 2009. The single high face value stamp ($160; Liberian dollars) features the Apollo 11 launch with a portrait of John F. Kennedy in the background (Kennedy was a champion of the Space program in the early 1960's).

The actual size of this sheet is 100 x 70 mm (3.94" x 2.76").
