The stamps feature gold medalists from the 1984 Winter Olympics in the following sports: men's giant slalom, women's giant slalom, biathlon, men's downhill skiing, and 4-man bobsled. The events and medalists are inscribed on the stamps. The retail value of this set is $5.15 (Scott 2010 Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue, Vol. 4).
