The motion picture King Creole, directed by Michael Curtiz and released by Paramount pictures on July 2, 1958, starred Elvis Presley, Walter Matthau, and Carolyn Jones. This was Elvis' fourth film and the last filmed in black & white. Presley plays the character Danny Fisher, a troubled teenager who drops out of school to help support his father. This item is a mint mini-sheet (souvenir sheet; #4 of a series) of one high face value stamp ($6) issued by Antigua and Barbuda to commemorate Elvis and this film.
