This booklet, containing four pages with a total of seven souvenir envelopes (covers), was issued by the United States Postal Service for the 1972 World Series. This World Series was between the Oakland A's and Cincinnati Reds, with the A's winning in seven games- a very exciting series, with six of the games being decided by one run. Each cover commemorates one of the games (box score is included on the envelope) and is postmarked in the city holding the particular game. Each cover is also autographed by that city's postmaster. Only four of the seven covers (and 2 of the 4 pages) are shown above, along with the booklet cover (card stock); all are in excellent shape. With the exception of the different game No. and box scores, each cover has the same Cincinnati Reds cachet The booklet and envelope images are 66% of actual size. This is a scarce item; we only have two booklets and we will not be able to replenish this stock.
