As a global organization, the World Wildlife Fund (now known as the World Wide Fund for Nature outside of North America) has been commemorated on the postage stamps of many countries.  These beautiful stamps generally feature wildlife native to the stamp-issuing country.

Issued by Viet Nam on May 18, 2000, the stamps show the head of the gazelle by a vine, the animal walking in grass, walking near a pond, and the animal's head with mountains in the background. Price: $3.25   Item ID: WF28 Snowy Owls, WWF Greenland, 1999 Details  Greenland issued this set of four mint World Wildlife Fund stamps on Feb. 8, 1999. Featuring the Snowy Owl (Nyctea scandiaca), the four stamps show an owl nesting with young, one in flight, two adults, and one perched on a rock. Price: $7.75   Item ID: WF27 Fijian Monkey-faced Bat. Fiji, 1997 Details  Four different views of the Fijian Monkey-Faced Bat are provided by this set of four mint World Wildlife Fund stamps from Fiji (issued on Oct. 15, 1997). The stamps feature the Peregrine Falcon with eggs, with chicks, with young near Fort Clonque, and preparing to fly. The Island of Alderny is a British territory; it is the Northermost of the Channel Islands in the Guernsey Balliwick. Price: $6.35   Item ID: WF10 Wild Sheep Afghanistan, 1998 Details  Afghanistan issued this set of four mint World Wildlife Fund (WWF) stamps in 1998 to promote awareness of protected fauna.
