The four stamps, offered here as a horizontal strip, depict the wild sheep Ovis vignei and feature a single ram, a ewe with lamb, two rams walking, and two rams butting heads. Price: $7.80   Item ID: WF11 Lesser Flamingo; WWF Angola, 1999 Details  Issued by Angola in 1999, this strip of four mint World Wildlife Fund postage stamps features the Lesser Flamingo (Phoenicopterus minor). The stamps feature the flamingo facing left, with body facing forward, just the head and neck, and with wings spread. Price: $3.95   Item ID: WF12 Lesser Flamingos; WWF Angola, 1999 Set of 4 First Day Covers Details  Angola issued four mint World Wildlife Fund postage stamps featuring the Lesser Flamingo (Phoenicopterus minor) on March 25, 1999. Offered here is a set of Official First Day Covers (envelopes) for this issue; one cover for each of the four issued stamps. The covers include beautiful original cachet art, a handstamp cancellation dated on the day this issue was first released, the WWF logo, and WWF copyright and trademark notices. The stamps feature the Peregrine Falcon with eggs, with chicks, with young near Fort Clonque, and preparing to fly. The Island of Alderny is a British territory; it is the Northermost of the Channel Islands in the Guernsey Balliwick. Price: $6.35   Item ID: WF15 Peregrine Falcons Alderney, 2000 Four Mint Stamp Sheets Details  Peregrine Falcons are featured on this scarce set of four Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) postage stamp sheets issued by Alderney on Feb. 4, 2000. Each sheet contains ten stamps (the ten stamps within a sheet are identical; four different stamps are represented by the four sheets). Birds (Polysticta stelleri). Details  A beautiful block of four mint World Wildlife Fund (Worldwide Fund for Nature) postage stamps issued by the Aland Islands. Each stamp features a different view of Polysticta stelleri: a pair in flight, a pair on a rock, a pair in water, and a male in water. The Aland Islands, a group of 6,554 islands at the mouth of the Gulf of Bothnia between Finland and Sweden, is a province of Finland. Price: $4.60   Item ID: WF17 Antiguan Racer Snake Antigua & Barbuda, 2002 Details  This Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) set of four mint stamps was issued by Antigua on Nov. 25, 2002, to bring attention to the Antiguan Racer Snake (Alsophis antiguae). The strip of four stamps features four different views of the snake. Antigua & Barbuda is an independent state in the West Indies, southeast of Puerto Rico. Price: $3.95   Item ID: WF18 Fairy Tern, WWF Ascension, 1999 Details  This set of four mint World Wildlife Fund stamps was issued by Ascension on Apr. 27, 1999, and features the Fairy Tern (Gygis alba). The stamps depict two terns on a branch, one on a branch, an adult feeding a chick, and two in flight.
