Price: $0.45   Item ID: CH40 United States 1975 Contemporary Christmas Stamp Details  Issued on October 14, 1975, this Christmas stamp features an early Christmas card design by Louis Prang. The stamp is non-denominated because a rate change was pending (10c to 13c; this is, however, a 10c stamp). Price: $0.45   Item ID: CH39 United States, 1975 Traditional Christmas Stamp Details  This mint 1975 Christmas stamp (issued Oct. 14) was designed by Stevan Dohanos and features the painting "Madonna and Child," by Ghirlandaio. Due to an impending postage rate change, the stamp was issued without a denomination- the date of a change from 10c to 13c was not known at the time of printing; the stamp ended up being issued prior to the rate change and it is thus a 10c stamp. Price: $0.45   Item ID: CH42 United States, 1976 Contemporary Christmas Stamp Details  Issued on Oct. 27, 1976, this mint contemporary Christmas stamp features an 1855 lithograph by artist Nathaniel Currier. The lithograph, located in the Museum of the City of New York, is titled, "Winter Pastime" and depicts children playing (hockey ?) on a frozen river. Price: $0.55   Item ID: CH41 United States, 1976 Traditional Christmas Stamp Details  Featuring the then 200 year-old painting "Nativity" by John Singleton Copely, this mint Christmas stamp was issued on Oct. 27, 1976. The stamp was designed by Bradbury Thompson after the 1776 painting which is located in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Mass.
