Antique Toys Booklet Pane of 20 United States, 2002

Issued by the U.S. Postal Service on June 7, 2002, this mint, never folded, booklet pane of 20 self-adhesive stamps features antique transportation toys. Included are a toy mail wagon, a toy locomotive, a toy taxicab and a toy fire pumper. The pane has five copies each of the four different designs. This pane of 37-cent stamps is inscribed "First Class," rather than 37c (the postage rate was not decided upon at the time of production); this differentiates this pane from a subsequent issue (Sc.# 3645e, our item# AB48).
