Issued by the United States Postal Service on July 11, 1996, this mint block of four Folk Heroes stamps features, in bold artwork, ballplayer Mighty Casey, legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyan, railway worker John Henry, and Texas cowboy Pecos Bill - all larger than life characters made famous in popular American fiction.
