The United States Military on Postage Stamps

All branches of the United States military, all military conflicts, and many important military figures and war heroes have been honored on postage stamps.  Sought by stamp collectors, military history buffs, and as gifts for service men and women, this is one of our more popular stamp categories.

If a particular military conflict (Civil War, World War II, Vietnam, etc.) is commemorated by a particular stamp, this will be mentioned in the stamp description.  Using our Advanced Search function, a search for "Civil War", for example, should therefore yield a list of all stamps in our inventory that feature a topic associated with the Civil War.

Suggested key words for wars:

Revolutionary War / American Revolution

War of 1812

Civil War

Spanish-American War

World War I

World War II

Korean War

Vietnam

Gulf War
