How to Order
At The Collectible Stamps Gallery, we have
adopted a shopping cart and checkout system that you will
likely find to be both intuitive and simple to use.
However, if this shopping cart
method is unfamiliar to you,
we hope that the following detailed instructions answer any questions
you may have. If
additional information is needed, please do not hesitate to
contact us.
Step 1:
View a list of items for sale

Click on a category of interest
among those listed in the navigation bar at left.

OR, Use our "Quick Search"
function. Enter a key word(s) in the search box located
at the top of the left-hand navigation bar on each page.

OR, perform a detailed
search using our
Advanced Search application. Click on
"Advanced Search" at the top of the left-hand navigation bar.
With this application, you can search by key words (multiple
options) and maximum price within individual stamp categories
or across all stamp categories (across all categories is
recommended).
Step 2:
Browse item listings
Most categories have
multiple pages of item listings; please use the "previous" and
"next" navigation links located both above and below the item
listings to navigate between these multiple
pages.
To view an enlarged and sharper
image of the item, as well as a more detailed description of
the item (including stamp(s) measurements), please
click on either the small image or the "Details" link- this will
open an "Item Details" page.
Step 3: Add items to shopping cart
Click the "Add to Cart" icon
located under the item description (on either the category
listings page or the item details page). To the left of
the "Add to Cart" icon is a box for entering the quantity of
that item you would like to purchase- if you change your mind,
this number can be changed on our Checkout page. Please
not that certain items are available in limited quantities.
Step 4:
Checkout
To checkout, or to simply view the
items in your cart, click on the "Checkout" icon located near
the top right of each category listings and item details page.
Follow these steps to proceed with the checkout process
(instructions are also provided on the checkout pages):
Review the items you have added to
the shopping cart. The item quantities can be changed on
this page. To remove an item from your cart, select the
item by clicking on the box under the "Select" heading, then
click on "Delete". If changes have been made, click on
"Update Totals". Click on the "Checkout" icon to proceed
with the checkout process (entering of customer and shipping
address information), or click on "Continue Shopping" to
return to the category listings page.
Enter customer details:
name, address, email address, and phone number (note that if
this is a credit card or PayPal purchase, this address should
match your billing address). Also complete the shipping
details section if the "ship to" address is different from the
address you have already entered. If you would not like
to receive our monthly email newsletter, uncheck this option
box. Next, choose your payment method from the
drop-down menue: either
Credit Card, PayPal, or Check / Money Order. Click on
the 'Checkout" icon to proceed.

If "Credit Card" was the
chosen payment method, a secure page will open for entering of
your credit card details. Enter your credit card number,
expiration date, and CCV number (the CCV, or "Card Code
Verification," number is the three- or four-digit security
code printed on a credit card's signature panel in reverse
italics, or following the full number on the front of the
card). Click on the "Checkout" icon to complete the
checkout process.
If PayPal was the chosen
payment method, a secure PayPal web site page will open for
entering either your PayPal account information or, if you
would like to pay with a credit card through PayPal without an
account, your credit card information. The PayPal payment processing
page will be pre-populated with the customer information you
have already entered. Proceed with PayPal's instructions
for entering your PayPal account information or credit card
information.
If Check or Money Order was
the chosen payment method, a page with your order receipt will
open (you will also receive a copy of this receipt and payment
instructions by email). We will ship your purchased
items upon receipt of payment. Your requested in-stock items will
be reserved for you for 10 days; after 10 days, availability
will be subject to prior sale. A full refund will be
sent for any out-of-stock items.
