Russia commemorated the 2008 World Ice Hockey Championships with the issuance of this mint stamp on December 5, 2008.

Russia issued this mint stamp on March 18, 1970, to commemorate the World Ice Hockey Championships (hosted by Sweden).

This mint mini-sheet (souvenir sheet) was issued by Russia on March 14, 1973, to commemorate the 1973 European and World Ice Hockey Championships. These Championship games were hosted by Moscow. The sheet includes a single high denomination stamp that features two hockey players.

Canada commemorated the 75th anniversary of the National Hockey League with the issuance of this complete mint set of three stamps on October 9, 1992. The three stamps feature the following: (1) skates, stick, puck and photo from the early years (1917-1942); (2) photograph and team emblems from the six-team years (1942-1967); (3) Goalie's mask, gloves, photo from the expansion years (1967-1992).

Canada celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Montral Canadians (the "Habs") with the 2009 issuance of this folded booklet of ten self-adhesive stamps. On October 17, 2009, Canada Post celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Montreal Canadians with the release of this wonderful three-stamp souvenir sheet. The entire stamp side of the sheet was produced with a holographic-type process ("lenticular"). The uniform numbers and names and the stamp images change depending on the angle of view. Russia issue this mint single-stamp mini-sheet on Apr. 14, 1979, to commemorate the World and European Ice Hockey Championships (held in Moscow, April 14-27, 1979). This attractively designed sheet includes the logo for the event in the sheet selvage (lower left).
