Canada celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Montral Canadians (the "Habs") with the 2009 issuance of this folded booklet of ten self-adhesive stamps. On October 17, 2009, Canada Post celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Montreal Canadians with the release of this wonderful three-stamp souvenir sheet. The entire stamp side of the sheet was produced with a holographic-type process ("lenticular"). The uniform numbers and names and the stamp images change depending on the angle of view. Issued on July 1, 1988, this cancelled stamp commemorates the USSR Hockey team- winners of the Gold Medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. The stamp features a Russian Hockey player and the Olympic emblem.
