This item, issued by Canada Post in 2009, is the second sheet of "Canadian Recording Artists" stamps issued by Canada - the first sheet was issued in 2007 (see item #CY36). This mint sheet of four stamps showcases another group of talented recording artists who have enjoyed great success in the music industry: international rock superstar Bryan Adams, renowned folklorist Stompin’ Tom Connors, pioneer in French-Canadian rock Robert Charlebois, and Acadian singing sensation Edith Butler.
